Amber

Physics & Math Tutor

Hi! My name is Amber, and I'm currently a College of Humanities and Sciences (CHS) student with NUS. My interest in teaching started with guiding my peers through difficult questions, and finding satisfaction in helping them get the right answer. As a tutor, I strongly believe in working closely with students to better understand how they can best process information to produce better academic outcomes with the least amount of stress. Simultaneously, I strive to make my lessons as clear as possible to reduce any frustration faced when approaching a learning curve. I truly enjoy physics and math as a subject due to how logical and ubiquitous they are, and I wish to help my students enjoy physics and math as a concept rather than a mere school subject. When a reason to study goes beyond grades, I believe that's when we learn and absorb information the best.

Hi, I'm Amber, a CHS student at NUS who found my love of teaching through helping peers work through tough questions. I work closely with each student to figure out how they learn best, aiming to make Physics and Math feel logical and enjoyable rather than just another subject to survive.
